One pumpkin vine grew all the way to the ground and has produced one pumpkin so far.  I am somewhat fearful that the pumpkin will fall, but my friend, Dick DeMoss at the nearby pumpkin farm, assures me that there would be no problem. Also, my neighbor, Hong, says that the tendrils of the vine should be plenty strong to hold the pumpkin in place, but I have opted for some insurance and tied the vine to the green plastic fencing.
