In 2004, when Helen bought her first digital camera — a Canon Digital Rebel, she discovered that it came bundled with software that could stitch together a sequence of files to make panoramic images. She has occasionally shot scenes with the intent of making panoramic photos; however, the stitching has worked to her satisfaction in only about 30 percent of her trials. In most cases, she has shot only two views of a scene, a left and a right one, to make a panoramic photo. Helen has her photographs printed at Pyle Photo Service, a family-run business with great attention to detail, in Ames, Iowa. Her panoramic photos measure 18 inches wide and some three to five inches tall. We can have the matting done at the Frame Shop in Ames with a signed, photo-white mat or deliver your photographs unmatted. Prices: If we already have a photograph in our inventory, we may be
able to offer you a slightly reduced price. And occasionally,
we may post a list of images that we have had in inventory for
awhile that need a good home at a reduced rate.
